BATTLE CREEK, MI- The Bombers have signed Catcher Jeremy Shay for the 2012 season.

Jeremy Shay: 6’0-215, R/R, C/IF, Bowling Green Falcons (So.), Garden City, Mich.

Jeremy is currently participating in his second year with Bowling Green Falcons. During his freshman year with the team, Jeremy appeared in 35 games, starting 24 games as a catcher and infielder. Jeremy hit .265, with four doubles and three home runs and posted the fourth highest slugging percentage, .398, on the team.

Jeremy attended Divine Child High School where he was a four year letterman in baseball and captained the Falcons to a 34-8 overall record and back to back state championships his senior year. Prior to his senior year, Jeremy was named a pre-season All-American and finished the year All-State Dream Team. Jeremy showed his superior athletic talents by also lettering for the football team all four years in high school.

The Battle Creek Bombers are members of the prestigious Northwoods League that has more teams, plays more games, and draws more fans than any other summer collegiate baseball league in North America.
