Waterloo, IA – The Waterloo Bucks, a member of the Northwoods League, have announced the signing of right-handed pitcher Jordan Foley to their roster for the 2012 season. Foley, a freshman at Central Michigan University, joins fellow Chippewa Jordan Adams on the team this summer.
 
The 6’3", 207-pounder was drafted in the 26th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft by the New York Yankees. Foley joins outfielder Benny Roberts (7th Round, Diamondbacks) as 2011 draft picks to be signed by the Bucks for their 18th season of play. 
"I am very excited for the opportunity to play for the Waterloo Bucks this summer," said Foley. "I have heard great things about this ball club from my teammate and current Waterloo Buck Jordan Adams."
This season, Foley has appeared in 10 games for Central Michigan. A native of The Colony, Texas, Foley owns a 3-0 record with a 7.55 ERA and 23 strikeouts in 31 innings pitched.
Born July 12, 1993, Foley attended The Colony High School where he earned all-district honors as a junior, striking out 70 batters and finishing with a 0.84 ERA. Jordan is the son of Jerry and Michele Foley.
