BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (June 5, 2012) –Battle Creek Bombers starting pitcher Joe Battistelli (Eastern Michigan) earned the honor of Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night for Tuesday, June 5.

Battistelli threw six shutout innings and allowed just four hits. The Allen Park, Mich. native walked just one batter and struck out five Green Bay Bullfrogs. Although Battistelli earned a no-decision, he was a key component in the Bombers ___ victory over the Bullfrogs. 

The Bombers make their way to Mequon, Wis. to face the expansion Lakeshore Chinooks for a 6:35 p.m. start on Wednesday.
