GREEN BAY, Wis. (June 5, 2012) –Madison Mallards starting pitcher Matt LaMothe (Georgia College and State) earned the honor of Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night for Tuesday, June 5.

LaMothe threw six strong innings for the Mallards. The Troy, Mich. native allowed just one run and one walk while striking out eight Bullfrogs batters in the 2-1 win for Madison. LaMothe improves to 2-0 on the young season and is currently holding and Earned Run Average of 1.64.  

The Mallards host the Bullfrogs on Thursday for a 7:05 p.m. start.
