ROCHESTER, Minn. (June 13, 2012) – The division races continued to be back-and-forth on Wednesday. The Bucks regained their lead over the MoonDogs and the Loggers walked-off to keep their South Division lead over the Chinooks. 

Green Bay 0, Lakeshore 1

Lakeshore was led by the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night, Carson Beauchaine (SVSU). Beauchaine threw six shutout innings and struck out eight batters to get his second win of the season. The Chinooks will host the Green Bay Bullfrogs for a 6:35 p.m. start on Thursday. 

Willmar 8, Duluth 3 

The Stingers were led at the dish by Michael Suchy (Florida Gulf Coast). Suchy was 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run scored for Willmar. Duluth will travel to Rochester to take on the Honkers on Thursday with a start time of 7:05 p.m. The Stingers will host the Thunder Bay Border Cats at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday. 

Alexandria 6, Mankato 4

The Beetles were led by Johnny Tolson (Arkansas) who was 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored. The Beetles will travel to Waterloo to face the Bucks for a 6:35 p.m. start as the MoonDogs will host the St. Cloud Rox for a 7:05 p.m. start.  

Rochester 0, Waterloo 7

The Bucks were led by Micah Bryan (Charlotte) who pitched seven shutout innings for the Bucks and allowed just two hits while striking out five. The Honkers will begin a three-game series with the Duluth Huskies on Thursday with the first pitch at Mayo Field scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

Wisconsin 4, Wisconsin Rapids 5

The Rafters got an RBI single from Austin Neary (Western Carolina) in the bottom of the eighth to take the lead into the ninth, 5-4 and that would be the final score. The Rafters will travel to Wausau, Wis. to face the Woodchucks for a 6:35 p.m. start on Thursday. 

La Crosse 6, Eau Claire 5

After the Express put a run on the board in the top of the 15th inning, the Loggers’ Boomer Collins (Dallas Baptist) hit a walk-off, two-run home run in the bottom of the inning to win it for La Crosse. It was his second home run of the day, which was his birthday. The Loggers will play Eau Claire at 6:35 p.m. on Thursday.

St. Cloud 4, Thunder Bay 8

The Border Cats were led by Brett Kay (Illinois State) who was 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored. Kay also hit his first triple of the season and stole his seventh base of the year.  

Battle Creek 6, Madison 4

Battle Creek was led at the plate by A.J. Spanel (Doane College) who went 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBI and a run scored for the Bombers. The Bombers will take on the Mallards on Thursday for a 7:05 p.m. start time.
