DULUTH, Minn. (June 13, 2012) – Willmar Stingers first baseman Michael Suchy (Florida Gulf Coast) was named the Northwoods League Player of the Night for Wednesday, June 13.
Suchy was 3-for-3 at the plate for the Stingers and drove in three runs. He also scored once and had a stolen base. Suchy doubled twice Wednesday and drove in his 14, 15 and 16th runs of the season.
The Stingers will host the Thunder Bay Border Cats on Thursday for a 7:05 p.m. start.
