WAUSAU, Wis. (June 18, 2012) – Wisconsin Woodchucks starting pitcher Jack Fischer (Wake Forest) earned the honor of Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night for Monday, June 18. 

Fischer threw seven innings of shutout baseball against the Lakeshore Chinooks. He allowed just five hits, walked one and struck out ten batters. Fischer improves to 2-0 on the season and continues to carry his 0.00 Earned Run Average in 12 innings pitched this season. 

Wisconsin defeated the Chinooks 4-0. The Woodchucks will host the Chinooks again on Tuesday for a 6:35 p.m. start.
