ROCHESTER, Minn. (June 18, 2012) – The La Crosse Loggers continued to stay hot, winning their ninth straight game. The MoonDogs and Bucks continued to battle it out for the lead in the North Division on Monday. 

Madison 0, Green Bay 8

The Bullfrogs were led by their pitching staff, which threw a combined shutout. Christian Cecilio (San Francisco) got the start for Green Bay. He threw six innings, allowed just four hits and struck out five. These two teams will see each other again on Tuesday for a 7:05 p.m. start. 

Alexandria 4, Waterloo 10

Waterloo was led by Kevin Kaczmarski (Evansville) who was 3-for-5 at the plate with two RBI and a run scored. The Bucks will travel to Thunder Bay to face the Border Cats on Tuesday. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 ET. The Beetles will be in Rochester on Tuesday to face the Honkers at 7:05 p.m. CT.

Thunder Bay 7, Duluth 2

The Border Cats were led by Omar Cotto (USC) who was 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. The Huskies will travel to Mankato on Tuesday for a 7:05 p.m. first pitch. 

La Crosse 11, Battle Creek 7

The Loggers saw good performance at the plate by Tyler Kuresa (UC Santa Barbara). Kuresa went 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored in the game. The Bombers will host the Loggers again on Tuesday for a 7:05 p.m. ET start. 

Lakeshore 0, Wisconsin 4

The Woodchucks were led by a dominating performance by Jack Fischer (Wake Forest) who threw seven shutout innings and struck out 10 Lakeshore batters. These two teams will play again on Tuesday with a start time scheduled for 6:35 p.m.

Mankato 11, Rochester 6

Trey Nielsen (Utah) was 3-for-5 at the plate for the MoonDogs. He put the MoonDogs up 4-3 in the top of the fifth inning when he hit a two-run double to center field. Nielson also hit a two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning.

Eau Claire 4, Wisconsin Rapids 5

The Rafters trailed 4-1 until the bottom of the eighth when Brandon Hohl (Illinois) crushed a go-ahead grand slam to left field. This series will shift to Eau Claire on Tuesday with a start time of 6:35 p.m.

Willmar 9, St. Cloud 6 

JD Dorgan (St. Thomas) was 2-for-4 at the plate for the Stingers with three RBI and a run scored in their victory in St. Cloud. These two teams will face each other again on Tuesday in St. Cloud with a 7:05 p.m. start.
