(June 21, 2012) – Rochester Honkers third baseman Brandon Defazio (College of San Mateo) and Battle Creek Bombers first baseman Sikes Orvis (Ole Miss) earned Co-Northwoods League Player of the Night for Thursday, June 21. 

Defazio was 3-for-5 at the plate with six RBI. He crushed a three-run home run in the top of the seventh to propel the Honkers to a 9-4 win. He also had a stolen base and a run scored. 

Orvis was 3-for-4 at the plate for the Bombers with six RBI and a run scored. Orvis recorded two two-run doubles and a two-run single in the game. He would also draw a walk in the Bombers 12-9 victory. 

The Honkers travel to Willmar on Friday to take on the Stingers at 7:05 p.m. and the Bombers host the Woodchucks for a 7:05 p.m. ET start.
