MADISON, Wis. (July 6, 2012) – Eau Claire Express right fielder Josh Scheffert (Nebraska) earned Northwoods League Player of the Night for Friday, July 6.
Scheffert was 3-for-5 at the plate with four RBI, two runs scored and two home runs. He gave his team the temporary two-run lead in the top of the tenth, when he hit his fourth home run of the season on a two-run shot.
The Mallards won the game 8-6 in 12 innings. Madison will host Eau Claire again on Saturday beginning at 6:35 p.m.
