ROCHESTER, Minn. (July 26, 2012) – Rochester Honkers third baseman Brandon Defazio (College of San Mateo) earned Northwoods League Player of the Night for Thursday, July 26.
Defazio went 2-for-4 at the plate with four RBI and a run scored for the Honkers. In the bottom of the seventh, Defazio crushed his fourth home run of the season with a three-run shot to give the Honkers a 5-3 lead.
The Honkers won the game 8-5. Rochester will host the Bucks again on Friday for a 7:05 p.m. start.
