ROCHESTER, Minn. (July 29, 2012) – The North Division saw yet another night where a new leader emerged as the Stingers and Huskies continue to swap positions. 

The Woodchucks stayed perfect at home in the second half and increased their lead over the Mallards in the South. 

Mankato , Thunder Bay 

This game was postponed due to weather. The Border Cats will host the MoonDogs on Monday for a double-header beginning at 5:05 p.m. ET.

Duluth 2, Rochester 6

Jordan Parr (Illinois) was 5-for-5 at the plate with three RBI and two runs scored. He also hit his seventh home run of the season. The Honkers will travel to Willmar to take on the Stingers on Monday with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m. The Huskies will host the Waterloo Bucks for a 7:05 p.m. start. 

Waterloo 6, Alexandria 9

Ben Moore (Alabama) went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored. He also picked up his 14th double of the season. The Beetles will host the St. Cloud Rox on Monday for a 7:05 p.m. start.

Willmar 7, St. Cloud 5

Four Stingers hit long balls as the Stingers regained the North Division lead. One of those was Mitch Rowan (San Francisco) who went 2-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored. 

La Crosse 4, Madison 2

The Loggers were led by the long ball as three players hit long shots, including Richard Prigatano (Long Beach State) who connected for his seventh of the year. The Mallards will host the Loggers again on Monday for a 7:05 p.m. start. 

Battle Creek 3, Wisconsin 4

Wisconsin won their seventh straight and 17th home game of the second half to increase their lead over the Mallards in the South. The Woodchucks and Bombers will meet again on Monday for a 6:35 p.m. start. 

Wisconsin Rapids 2, Lakeshore 4

 

Forrest Chadwick (Southern Maine) went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored, including his seventh and eighth home runs of the season. Lakeshore will host the Rafters on Monday for a 6:35 p.m. start. 

Eau Claire 5, Green Bay 1

Kye Winter (Augustana) threw six shutout innings and allowed just three hits while striking out four batters to lead the Express. The Bullfrogs will host the Express on Monday with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
