ROCHESTER, Minn. (August 11, 2012) – Rochester Honkers shortstop Mike Lukkason (Dakota Wesleyan) earned Northwoods League Player of the Night for Saturday, August 11.
Lukkason was 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored. In the bottom of the eighth inning, Lukkason hit his second home run of the season with a grand slam to give the Honkers the lead and end the playoff hopes for the St. Cloud Rox.
The Honkers won the game 13-12. Rochester will host the Rox on Sunday for a 1:05 p.m. start.
