ROCHESTER, Minn. (August 11, 2012) – With a win and a St. Cloud Rox loss, the Willmar Stingers clinched the second half North Division championship. The Stingers will meet the MoonDogs in the playoffs. 

Mankato 10, Waterloo 3

Craig Massoni (Chabot College) went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored for the MoonDogs. The Bucks will host the MoonDogs on Sunday at 3:05 p.m. It will be Waterloo’s final game of the season. 

St. Cloud 12, Rochester 13

Mike Lukkason (Dakota Wesleyan) went 2-for-4 with four RBI, including a go-ahead grand slam in the bottom of the eighth. The Honkers will host the Rox again on Sunday for the regular season finale at 1:05 p.m. 

Thunder Bay 2, Willmar 9

Kenny Roberts (Alabama) went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored. The Stingers will host the Border Cats on Sunday at 7:05 p.m. for what will be Thunder Bay’s final game of 2012. 

Alexandria 2, Duluth 14

Max Duval (Hawaii) went 3-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored and hit his seventh home run of the season. The Huskies will host the Beetles on Sunday for a 5:05 p.m. start. 

Eau Claire 0, Battle Creek 1 (7 innings)

Kyle Teague (Grand Valley State) threw the complete-game shutout for the Bombers, throwing seven innings and allowing just two hits while striking out six.

Alex Tukey (Minnesota) threw the complete-game shutout for the Bombers and allowed just four hits while striking out five. The Bombers host the Eau Claire Express for both teams’ final game of the 2012 season at 5:05 p.m. ET on Sunday. 

La Crosse 11, Green Bay 1

Jimmy Bosco (Arkansas) went 3-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored. He also hit his eighth home run of the season. The Bullfrogs will host the Loggers for the season finale on Sunday at 1:05 p.m.  

Wisconsin 6, Madison 7

Mike Reuvekamp (California) went 2-for-3 with four RBI and a double. He now has 53 RBI on the season. The Woodchucks will host the Mallards on Sunday for a 5:05 p.m. start. It will be the Mallards final home game of the season. 

Lakeshore 4, Wisconsin Rapids 0

Jason Hoppe (Mankato State) threw eight shutout innings and allowed just three hits while striking out seven batters. The Rafters will host the Chinooks for both teams’ final games of the season at 5:05 p.m. on Sunday.
