WAUSAU, Wis. (August 13, 2012) – Wisconsin Woodchucks shortstop Madison Carter (Grayson County CC) earned Northwoods League Player of the Night for Monday, August 13. 

Carter went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored. He hit a three-run shot in the bottom of the second to extend the then Wisconsin lead. He also recorded a double, drew a walk and picked up a stolen base. 

The Loggers won the game over the Woodchucks, 14-6. Game two of the series is on Tuesday in La Crosse with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
