MANKATO, Minn. (August 15, 2012) – Mankato MoonDogs starting pitcher Davis Henderson (Oklahoma City) earned the honor of Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night for Wednesday, August 15.
Henderson shut down the Stingers for 5.1 innings as he allowed just one run on three hits and struck out six batters. He would also earn the win, which would send the MoonDogs to the 2012 Summer Collegiate World Series.
The 2012 Summer Collegiate World Series between the Mankato MoonDogs and La Crosse Loggers will begin on Thursday at 7:05 p.m. in Mankato.
