Rochester, Minn (June 9th, 2013)–Eric Nyquist (Mercer) was excellent on Sunday in a winning effort for the St. Cloud Rox. The righty from Alpharetta, Georgia was able to throw six shutout frames in the win.
The game was Nyquist’s first start of the season, and he certainly did not disappoint. He held the Honkers to just three hits and a slugging percentage of .182.
The Rox will play again in Rochester on Monday night at 7:05.
