La Crosse, WI (June 13th, 2013)–The Battle Creek Bombers were unable to catch the Loggers in the standings on Wednesday, but they quickly turned around and gained some ground back on Thursday.
Starting pitcher Mike Mancuso (Georgia) pitched 5.1 shutout innings while allowing only five hits and striking out five. Thanks to an insurance run in the 9th inning, Mancuso was able to get the win.
The Bombers will head to Lakeshore on Friday to face the Chinooks at 7:05.
