Willmar, Minn (June 14th)–The saying in baseball often goes that great pitching will beat great offense, and that was the case on Friday in Willmar. A day after scoring 24 runs in a historic offensive effort, the St. Cloud Rox were completely shut down by Abe Bobb (San Francisco).

Bobb pitched a complete game and allowed only one run on seven hits while picking up the win. He now owns a 2-0 record and a 1.59 ERA through 17 IP on the season.

The Stingers will travel to St. Cloud to face the Rox again on Saturday at 6:05.
