Battle Creek, Mich (June 21st, 2013)–The Battle Creek Bombers grabbed a win on Friday behind starter David Stagg (Heartland CC). While Stagg did not last long, he certainly was effective in his time on the field.
Stagg was able to strike out seven and allowed only three base runners between two hits and a walk. Stagg also allowed zero runs in his five innings on his way to a victory.
The Bombers will host the Bullfrogs on Saturday at 7:05.
