Eau Claire, WI (June 22nd, 2013)–The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters asked their ace to take the hill on Saturday night in Eau Claire, and he did not disappoint. John Kravetz (Illinois) continued his strong start to the season as he allowed just one run over seven innings of work.

Kravetz’ experiences in the Big Ten have certainly appeared to help him in the Northwoods League so far. On Saturday, he was able to strike out seven batters and drive his season ERA down to 0.86.

Wisconsin Rapids will play Eau Claire again on the road Sunday at 5:05.
