Madison, WI (June 26th, 2013)–The Madison Mallards got a big win on Wednesday night behind the fantastic efforts of their pitching staff. Of the three pitchers to appear in the game, Jamie Nunn (Appalachian State) was the best.
Nunn pitched five innings and allowed just five hits and one run while striking out eight Bombers. He pushed his season ERA down to a sparkly 2.16.
The Mallards will host the Wisconsin Woodchucks on Thursday at 7:05.
