Duluth, Minn (July 2nd, 2013)–The Willmar Stingers needed a pair of wins to keep themselves in the thick of the first-half division championship race with Waterloo. In game one, they sent Abe Bobb (San Francisco) to the mound.

Bobb was stellar as he pitched nine innings and surrendered just three hits and one run. His effort led the Stingers to the first win on the day, but the Stingers fell short in game two and were eliminated when Waterloo clinched in their win over Mankato.

Willmar will play Duluth again at 6:35 on Wednesday.
