Thunder Bay, Ontario (July 4th, 2013)–The Mankato MoonDogs opened their second half on Thursday with a win. The team can thank Kahana Neal (University of the Cumberlands) for leading them in the opener.

Neal, who hails from Hawaii, threw seven shutout innings while allowing just two hits and a walk. Along with this, he was able to strike out four batters while driving his season ERA down to 3.60.

The MoonDogs will stay in Thunder Bay for another game on Friday at 7:05.
