Rochester, Minn (July 8th, 2013)–The Mankato MoonDogs won in a big way on Monday thanks to ten runs from their offense. The bulk of that offense came out of the bat of their starting first baseman.
John Michael Twichell (UT-Arlington) hit a pair of home runs and drove in six RBI to lead the MoonDogs on Monday. Twitchell also added a double and has now raised his batting average to .264 on the season.
The MoonDogs will try to win again in Rochester on Tuesday at 1:05.
