St. Cloud, Minn (July 18th, 2013)–The St. Cloud Rox took home a win on Thursday behind a great effort from their starting pitcher. After the offense spotted him an early lead, Lucas Long (San Diego) cruised to the win.
Long pitched 8.2 innings and allowed just four hits and two unearned runs. With six strikeouts, he showed an ability to keep hitters off balance as he worked towards the win. On the season, his ERA rests at 1.57.
The Rox will host the Alexandria Blue Anchors on Friday at 7:05.
