Battle Creek, Mich (July 13th, 2013)–On Thursday night, the Lakeshore Chinooks won a 12-inning affair with the Battle Creek Bombers. After blowing a six run lead in the seventh inning, the Chinooks needed to rely on their offense to help them break through.

Chris Manning (Valporaiso) did the bulk of the heavy lifting on offense in Lakeshore’s win. Out of the lead off spot, Manning went 4/7 with two runs scored and six RBI. He contributed his third home run of the season and fell just a triple shy of the cycle.

The Chinooks will look to stay hot on Friday in Battle Creek at 7:05.
