Battle Creek, Mich (July 19th, 2013)–The Battle Creek Bombers won a closely fought game on Friday against the Lakeshore Chinooks. After trailing early, the Bombers got some timely hitting and took a late lead before shutting the door.

Cam Gibson (Michigan State) provided the greatest example of this hitting with his two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning. On the night, Gibson was 3/4 with two RBI and two runs scored while leading the Bombers on offense.

The Bombers will host Eau Claire on Saturday at 7:05.
