Madison, WI (July 29th, 2013)–In the Big League Dreams Showcase, pitchers were tested as they faced off against the best hitters that the Northwoods League has to offer. Two pitchers stood out in particular, starting with Matt Trowbridge (Central Michigan) of the Eau Claire Express in game one.

Trowbridge was the only pitcher in game one to successfully pitch two full innings. Over the course of the innings, he allowed just one walk and no hits as he shut out the North division in his time n the mound. However, he was upstaged in the second game by J.P. Feyereisen (UW-Stevens Point) of the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.

Feyereisen also pitched two perfect frames, but his two innings were perfect as he struck out four batters while giving his team an opportunity to come back.
