Eau Claire, WI (July 31st, 2013)–The Eau Claire Express won their game on Wednesday against the Thunder Bay Border Cats behind a strong start from Jake Cole (Pima CC).
Cole pitched seven shutout innings while allowing just four hits. Even though he gave up four walks, he struck out eight batters and lowered his season ERA to 3.14 while picking up his first win on the season.
The Express will host Thunder Bay again on Thursday at 6:35.
