Mequon, WI (August 2nd, 2013)–The Wisconsin Woodchucks blanked the Lakeshore Chinooks on Friday as they took home the shutout victory. While the shutout was a combined effort, the ‘Chucks were led by Matt Ditman (Rice) who made the start on the mound.

Ditman threw six shutout innings and allowed only two hits as he struck out seven batters and picked up the win. On the season, Ditman has two wins, a shutout, and 43 strikeouts in 44 innings pitched. Most impressively, he has only allowed six walks so far this year.

The Woodchucks will take on Lakeshore again on Saturday at 6:35 in Mequon.
