Alexandria, Minn (August 5th, 2013)–The Waterloo Bucks are turning in one of the best seasons in the history of the Northwoods League as they continue to stay hot throughout the year. Their win on Monday in extra innings was fueled by John Ziznewski (Long Island).

Ziznewski went 3/4 at the plate as the team’s shortstop and clean up hitter. He contributed his fourth home run on the season as he scored twice and drove in two runs. On the season, Ziznewski is batting .349 in 175 at bats.

The Bucks will look for wins number 48 and 49 as they resume a suspended game against Lakeshore at 6:05 and square off again at 6:35 in Waterloo.
