Thunder Bay, Ontario (August 7th, 2013)–Facing a double-header against the Thunder Bay Border Cats on Wednesday, the Eau Claire Express came out with a sweep. In fact, the Express dominated as they won the two games by a combined score of 22-4, and they were led by Tim Zier (San Diego State).

In the first game, Zier went 3/4 at the plate with a home run, two runs scored and four RBI as the Express won 10-1. In the second game, he went 2/4 with three runs scored, an RBI, and a double as the Express won 12-3. The second baseman dominated in one of Eau Claire’s biggest moments on the season.

The Express will look to keep it up on Thursday against the Huskies in Duluth at 6:35.
