Willmar, Minn (August 9th, 2013)–The Willmar Stingers needed a win on Friday to keep pace with Duluth and remain alive in the race. Thanks to an explosive performance from their offense, they were able to accomplish this feat.

The Stingers were led by Colton Bottomley (Florida Gulf Coast University) who reached an amazing accomplishment in the process. Bottomley went 5/5 at the plate with two runs scored and two RBI. He collected two doubles as he helped pace the Stingers out of right field.

The Stingers will face a must-win situation on Saturday on the road in Waterloo at 7:05.
