Waterloo, IA (August 13th, 2013)–The Duluth Huskies clinched a spot in the Summer Collegiate World Series with a win over the Waterloo Bucks on Tuesday night. They were propelled by a big night from their starting pitcher Jake Heissler (Central Missouri).

Heissler threw seven innings and only allowed one run while dominating the Bucks. After struggling through the regular season with an ERA north of five, Heissler came up with his biggest performance of the season on Tuesday.

The Huskies will play in the Summer Collegiate World Series on Thursday against the winner of Lakeshore vs. Madison. Time and location are yet to be determined.
