Announce Plans for Fan Favorite Team
Waterloo, IA – The Waterloo Bucks have released their 20th Season logo and have announced plans for their fans to pick a “fan favorite” team. The logo,
20th-season-logo which was designed by Ed Flack at Hellman Associates, will be used during the 2014 season interchangeably with the current Bucks’ family of logos.
Each Wednesday, between now and Waterloo’s Home Opener on May 28, the Bucks are allowing fans to vote for their favorite players or managers in the efforts to create the “Bucks 20th Season Fan Favorite Team.” Using their Facebook, Twitter, and website platforms, the Bucks will announce a list of nominees at a certain position. Fans will have until 11:59 pm CT each Tuesday to vote for their choice. After voting is complete, the Bucks will announce the fan favorite at that position.
The 20-person Fan Favorite team will consist of the following:

• Catcher
• First Baseman
• Second Baseman
• Third Baseman
• Shortstop
• Outfielder
• Outfielder
• Outfielder
• Right-handed Starting Pitcher
• Right-handed Starting Pitcher
• Right-handed Starting Pitcher
• Left-handed Starting Pitcher
• Left-handed Starting Pitcher
• Left-handed Starting Pitcher

• Extra Outfielder
• Extra Player
Voting for the first position begins today, as fans can select their favorite Bucks Field Manager of the past 20 years.
Fans will also have the opportunity to nominate players at any position by e-mailing the Bucks at
fanfavorite@waterloobucks.com. The Bucks will announce other 20th season celebrations in the near future.
The Bucks will open the 2014 season on the road versus the Rochester Honkers on May 27, but return to Waterloo for their home opener versus Rochester on May 28.
