Casey Fletcher becomes Third Fighting Illini to Join the Team

(Rochester, Minn)– The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced today the signing of outfielder Casey Fletcher from the University of Illinois.  He joins the Ropers brothers, Reid and Ryne,  as the third Fighting Illini  to play for the Honkers this summer.

Fletcher is a 5-foot-11, 170-pound junior outfielder who can also play the infield and will see time on the mound this summer.  Currently Fletcher is hitting .294 with five hits and four RBIs.  He’s started the last five games for the 6-4 Illini, three in right field and two in left.
