 St. Cloud, MN – The St. Cloud Rox Baseball Club announced today that they will unveil their new mascot on Thursday, March 20th at Brothers Bar & Grill in St. Cloud.  The mascot unveiling event will start at 7:00 p.m. and is open to the public.  There will be no charge for admission and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
 
The Rox held a ‘name your mascot contest’ this past January where fans could submit names for the new mascot.  The fan that submitted the selected mascot name will receive a pair of season tickets for the 2014 Rox season, a picture with the mascot at an unveiling event, and a private appearance at the his/her choice of a local school.  “We are looking forward to a fun event where fans can meet the new face of the Rox,” said Director of Marketing and Promotions Kelly McCall. 
 
The Rox home opener is Friday, May 30th at 7:05p.m. at Joe Faber Field presented by Coborn’s.  There will be a post-game fireworks show.  For Rox season tickets and/or partial ticket plans please call (320) 240-9798.
 
The St. Cloud Rox are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
