Missouri Tiger Joining the Woodchucks
 
Wausau, WIS – The Wisconsin Woodchucks announce today the addition of a new player to the 2014 roster with the addition left-handed pitcher Austin Tribby from the University of Missouri.
 
Tribby, a 6’4 left-handed pitched is in his sophomore year at the University of Missouri.  Tribby has made 9 appearances out of the bullpen this year striking out 7 and holding opposing batters to .118 batting.  In high school he compiled a 23-4 overall record with a 1.02 ERA in 165.2 innings pitched in his four-year career at Springfield Catholic High School in Springfield, Missouri.  He hit .340 with four home runs and 36 RBI while posting a 10-0 record with a 0.55 ERA and 104 strikeouts in his senior season. Tribby was named First Team All-State in 2011 and 2012, was a First Team All-Conference and All-District designation in both seasons as well.
 
Austin Tribby is the 10th player the Woodchucks have announced this spring.  Single game ticket will go on sale April 22nd for the newly renovated Athletic Park.  The WISCONSIN WOODCHUCKS Home Opener is Friday, May 30th presented by The Samuels Group.
