Volunteer Program Will Highlight Seniors at the “Duck Pond”
Madison, Wis. – The Madison Mallards have introduced a new fan participation program that will allow fans on the field to help with foul balls. The program has been named the Fowliners.
Patterned after the San Francisco Giants program, this new volunteer program will allow some fans to join the Mallards as uniformed participants in the on field action by handling foul balls down the right and left field lines and handing them to children in the stands. The Fowliners will add value to the already great game day experience for fans.
The Mallards are accepting applications for fans that are 60 years old and above to be the first ever Mallards Fowliners. The Mallards are looking for eight to ten qualified individuals who can commit to being at a minimum of eight games this summer. Team uniforms and hats for the games worked will be provided.

The Madison Mallards host their season opener on Tuesday, May 27th at 7:05 pm when they take on the Kalamazoo Growlers. Mallards single game tickets go on-sale on April 26th at 9:00 am. Tickets will be available by visiting MallardsBaseball.com or calling the Mallards ticket office at 608-246-4277.
