2014 was a memorable year for Morgan and the Chinooks. After sweeping their way through the playoffs, Lakeshore became the 2014 Northwoods League Champions for the first time in franchise history. In 2013, Morgan led the Chinooks to a Second Half South Division title and the organization’s first playoff berth. The Chinooks were knocked out of the playoffs by the Madison Mallards in game three of the divisional series. Lakeshore posted a 44-26 record in 2013. As an assistant in 2012, the team ended with a 35-35 record.
During the Chinooks off-season, Morgan is the head baseball coach for Concordia University Wisconsin, a positon he took in 2013. Before leading the Falcons on the diamond, Eddy was the head baseball coach at UW-Superior for seven seasons.
The Lakeshore Chinooks look forward to Eddy Morgan returning to Kapco Park in 2015 in the organization’s quest to become back-to-back Northwoods League Champions.
