(Duluth, MN)— – The Duluth Huskies have signed a trio of right-handed pitchers; Austin Carpenter, Jordan Cummings and Landon Smith.

Carpenter is a 6’0” sophomore from University of North Alabama. During the 2014 season, Austin made 25 appearances ending the season with a 2-3 record and 1 save. He had a 2.18 ERA in 41.1 innings of relief pitching.

Jordan Cummings a 6’1” junior right- handed pitcher from Winston Salem State University. Cummings transferred from Brunswick Community College and currently has appeared in eight games with a 4-1 record for Winston Salem.

Landon Smith is junior right-handed pitcher from the University of Montevallo. Smith spent his sophomore season at Snead State Community College with a 5-2 record. In 13 games he totaled 74.5 innings pitched, 46 strikeouts and 14 walks.

The Huskies will kick off their 2015 season with Opening Night presented by the Duluth Building and Construction Trades Council on May 27th beginning at 5:35pm with the band Big Wave Dave and the Ripples entertaining fans in the new Wade Plaza located down the third base line prior to first pitch against the Willmar Stingers at 6:35pm.
