(Rochester, Minn.)— The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced today the signing of infielder Ryan Webberley from Cal Poly Pomona.
Webberley is a 6-foot, 180-pound junior shortstop from Palmdale, Calif. He is currently hitting .270 with 10 doubles, two homeruns and 27 RBIs. Webberley has started every game for Cal Poly at shortstop, committing only 12 errors in 46 games, and leads the team with 133 assists.
Webberley played his first two years of collegiate baseball at Oxnard College, where he hit .300 in 45 games played.
The Rochester Honkers 22nd season begins on May 26th when the Mankato MoonDogs bark into Mayo Field for a 7:05pm first pitch. Season Tickets, Bonus Books, Suites and Patios are now available.
