The Wisconsin Woodchucks dropped game one of the series between Kalamazoo due to a late Growlers rally in the 9th inning, however one Chucks batter served up an amazing night in his season debut.
Left Fielder Jared Oliva was terrific for the Chucks, going a perfect 5-for-5, with a grand slam home run, as well as hitting two doubles, scored twice, and finished with four RBIs. Oliva, a redshirt freshman who attends Arizona, had as good of a Northwoods League debut in the league's history, and will look to play a big factor in the offensively-loaded Woodchucks lineup.
Wisconsin will look to bounce back tomorrow as they host the Growlers again at 7:05 PM.
