The Loggers picked up their fourth victory of the season as they beat the Willmar Stingers 8-2 at home, due to a fantastic night by their leadoff hitter. 

La Crosse 2nd Baseman Mason McCoy provided the power all night, as he went 3-for-5 with two home runs and finished the night with five RBIs, providing back to back multi-hit games in the series against Willmar. McCoy, a sophomore from Illinois Central College, has provided a star-studded performance in the first few weeks of as he sports an impressive .415 batting average, a is tied for the league-lead in hits with 17. 

McCoy and the Loggers will look to improve to 5-6 on the season as they travel to Wausau to take on the Woodchucks tomorrow at 7:05 PM.
