Wisconsin moved to 4-4 in the South Division as they took down the Kalamazoo Growlers at home, carried by a commanding pitching performance by their starter.

Chucks lefty Jared Skolnicki toed the rubber for his first start of his Northwoods League career and did not disappoint as he went five innings, allowing just one hit and no runs, while striking out eleven of the nineteen Growlers batters that he faced, collecting his second win of the season. A sophomore from Kent State, Skolnicki picked up a win in a relief appearance last week against the Loggers, and through seven total innings pitched, has not conceded a run.

The Woodchucks will continue their home stand Friday as they host the La Crosse Loggers at 7:05 PM.
