Lakeshore continues to climb up the South Division standings as they took two at home against the Wisconsin Woodchucks, however they received a stellar pitching performance for their starting pitcher.

Kody Hessemer was brilliant tonight for the Chinooks, as he tossed eight innings, giving up three runs, four hits and struck out nine Woodchucks. A junior from Baylor, Hessemer picked up his first win of the season, but has been a great addition to the Lakeshore rotation as he owns a 2.45 ERA and has struck out 19 through 14 2/3 innings.

The Chinooks will look to win their fourth straight contest as they travel to Eau Claire for interleague play. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 PM.
