The Blue Anchors earned their third win of the season, snapping a seven game losing streak, as they defeated the MoonDogs 8-1, backed behind a strong outing from their starter. 

Sean Terres paced Alexandria to victory going six innings, giving up one run (no earned) on two hits, four walks, while fanning six Mankato batters. A sophomore from North Dakota State, Terres has been lights out off the mound; through 11 innings pitched he has not surrendered an earned run, while totaling 12 strikeouts. 

Alexandria will look to keep their winning momentum going as they travel to Rochester for a doubleheader, starting at 6:05 PM
