The Chinooks fell into a tie for 3rd place in the South, losing to the Woodchucks 8-6 in Wausau, however Lakeshore's designated hitter put on a tremendous display at the plate in the defeat. 

Lefty Kyle Wood absolutely carried the offense, going 3-for-5, hitting his second home run on the year, and registered five RBIs. A junior from Purdue, Wood has proven himself as a consistent bat in the Chinooks lineup, owning a .250 batting average and .324 on base percentage, as well as hitting 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. 

Wood and the Chinooks will look to rebound from their loss, as they take on take on the Woodchucks again, first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
