Wisconsin Rapids were swept by the Kingfish at home in a great display of offense by both teams, as Kenosha came out on top 13-10. Despite the loss, the Rafters new addition at the hot corner turned in an impressive performance at the plate.

3rd baseman Brock Carpenter went 2-for-3 in just his second start as a Rafter, hitting his first home run of the season, while finishing with four RBIs. The sophomore from Seattle will look to anchor down a spot in the Wisconsin Rapids lineup, which ranks 4th overall in the Northwoods League.

Carpenter and the Rafters will look to snap their three game skid, as they continue their home stand by hosting the Battle Creek Bombers at 7:05 PM.
